We have 2 people from the University Maine Cooperation Extension who will be doing 2 separate programs - Week 3 in-house program about bees as pollinators and helping make a bee house and Week 7 a separate program on maple seeds and making a maple helicopter. Shelley Burbank, Kevin St. Jarre and Nylah Lyman will be at the Limerick Public Library on Friday, May 15th at 6pm for a "Author Conversation". Please join us as they discuss their different writing processes, themes and character building. There will be a question an answer session.

Solo Electric Guitar Saturday, March 7th at 3:00pm John is starting a rather ambitious new project where he will try to perform in every municipality in Maine, and he though it would be fitting to begin that journey in his hometown of Limerick.

The Great Backyard Bird Count will be held Friday, February 13-Monday, February 16 2026. The Library will have handouts for Keeping track of your sightings. We also have this information on our website and Facebook. Please join this free, fun, and engaging program for all ages.

Renoster will be hosting an Informational Session on Carbon Credits Programs in the state of Maine Wednesday, February 18th - 7pm at the Limerick Public Library Please join them for this educational topic of carbon.

New Artist of the Month for February and March 2026

We have added another day for the Chess Club/Mates - 1st Wednesday of the month at 6pm starting January 7th. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 2nd Wednesday of each month 𝐚𝐭 𝟔𝐩𝐦. Please come by to have some fun playing chess with members of the community. This is open to all ages who have a knowledge of chess.

You may drop off donations any time the library is open and if anyone has a need for warm hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, etc. they may stop in anytime the library is open.
