Solo Electric Guitar Saturday, March 7th at 3:00pm John is starting a rather ambitious new project where he will try to perform in every municipality in Maine, and he though it would be fitting to begin that journey in his hometown of Limerick.

The Great Backyard Bird Count will be held Friday, February 13-Monday, February 16 2026. The Library will have handouts for Keeping track of your sightings. We also have this information on our website and Facebook. Please join this free, fun, and engaging program for all ages.

Renoster will be hosting an Informational Session on  Carbon Credits Programs in the state of Maine  Wednesday, February 18th - 7pm at the Limerick Public Library Please join them for this educational topic of carbon.

New Artist of the Month for February and March 2026

Jeffrey Ryan will be here on Saturday, January 24th from 11am-Noon. He will be discussing his latest book - This Land Was Saved For You and Me.

We have added another day for the Chess Club/Mates - 1st Wednesday of the month at 6pm starting January 7th. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 2nd Wednesday of each month 𝐚𝐭 𝟔𝐩𝐦. Please come by to have some fun playing chess with members of the community. This is open to all ages who have a knowledge of chess.

You may drop off donations any time the library is open and if anyone has a need for warm hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, etc. they may stop in anytime the library is open.

2nd & 4th Fridays of each month (unless the library is closed) - 2-4pm Meet regularly to learn and share about writing fiction. This may include short stories, novels, children's books, and poetry.

3rd Tuesday each month at noon. December 16th has been cancelled. Next one is January 20, 2026 at noon. Cook the Book is back ready for new recipes! Stop into the library and choose a recipe from the cookbook of the month, let the library staff know what you will be making. Please bring your own flatware, plate/bowl, glass, etc. and gather for a fun afternoon.

Cristine's artwork will be on display in the library during November and December. We will have a "Meet the Artist" event on Saturday, November 15th - 11am-Noon.
