Carlos Rodriguez - Artist of the Month

"I'm a Chicano artist from East Los Angeles, now living in Maine for the past 25 years. I work mostly in oil paint, drawing inspiration from the visual traditions of Chicano art. My paintings often explore the beauty of the human form, blending real-life detail with a sense of mystery or the spiritual. Through my work, I try to connect everyday life with something more ethereal and timeless."
