September is Library Card Sign up Month

Stop by the Limerick Public Library to get a library card for your child and also receive a free book a library card holder kit and a special bookmark. Also, Maine residents with a library card can enjoy free admission to participating state parks on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025. This does not include admission to Acadia National Park, Allagash Wilderness Waterway, Baxter State Park, Maine Wildlife Park, Peacock Beach, Scarborough Beach, Swan Island, Penobscot River Corridor or the Penobscot Narrows Observatory in Prospect.
